NRT- Nutrition Response Testing & CrossFit as explained by Dr. Jennifer Jara, D.C.

NRT is a non-invasive system of analyzing the body in order to determine the underlying causes of ill health. When these are corrected through safe, natural, nutritional means, the body can repair itself in order to attain and maintain more optimal health.

As seen in my pictures below I think it's important that your doctor practice what they preach. Chiropractic and health is more than a career to me, it's my life and my lifestyle. I exercise regularly about 3-4 times per week doing CrossFit. In regards to eating, as I have taught my young daughter we Eat to Live NOT live to eat ! I do not have a perfect diet but I am consistant about eating healthy, lots veges, drinking water and taking my supplements. I do love my Trader Joe chocolates and I have a love hate relationship with coffee. I make fresh vegetable-fruit juice 4-5 days per week for myself and family with the a Breville juicer. My secret is maintaining a consistant balance within my body. I am assessed regularly with NRT to make sure my health is as great as it can be and that I am NEVER nutritionally deficient with my supplements!

JenScrubTummy_1.jpgNutrition Response Testing-NRT is very precise and accurate with your body's current state of health or crisis. However, if I were to analyze you using NRT before it was explained to you, you might find it strange and non-conventional only because it is probably very different from anything you may have experienced previously.

If you want to get healthy and stay healthy, it is imperative that you understand the basic components that make-up your health and the importance of what you put into your body. Supplements make the difference in the results you desire to obtain. The results I get in my office fluctuate in the 80-90 percentile success range.

The key to my success with nutrition is using supplements that are derived from whole food and-or animal product. Most of the supplements that you can buy out there use synthetic ingredients for prolonged shelf life. Most people do not know what their body truly needs or which organs and systems are deficient. Each person must be assest individually.

There is NO 1/day supplement! That is just clever marketing geared to the fast food nation mJenHairUp_1.jpgentality we have here in America. Think about it.....do you really believe that "one vitamin" is going to address every single function, organ, and system that your body needs to perform every single minute of the day and night? The more you know the more your understand, which means you make better decisions for your health that work!

In traditional medical practice there are two key parts: the diagnosis (identifying and/or naming the "disease" or syndrome) and the treatment (drugs, surgery, injections etc.)

In NRT we do not diagnose or treat the disease-instead we have two parts; the analysis (the assesment of your body's current health status) and the personalized health improvement program (using Designed Clinical Nutrition).

Simply put, we first do an analysis, and then we design a natural health improvement program to help you handle what we find in our analysis of your body and current condition.

"Designed Clinical Nutrition" is exactly that, designed (especially prepared based on a specific plan) clinical (pertaining to the results obtained in clincal use or actual practice on huge numbers of patients over many years) nutrition (real food, designed by nature to enable the body to repair itself and grow healthy).

It is concentrated, whole food in a tablet, capsule or powder, prepared using a unique manufacturing process that preserves all of the active enzymes and vital components that make it work as nature intended. These real food supplements have been designed to match the needs of every major function, organ, and system of the human body, as determined by the positive response shown when tested against the active NRT reflexes that were found on your individual NRT analysis. These are nutrients you are simply not getting, or not assimilating, in your current diet.

Many people I see in my practice that have diet issues have eaten themselves into their current state of ill-health to one degree or another. The deficiencies or imbalances lead to a breakdown in resistance, or immunity, and a loss of the ability to cope with environmental stresses  (chemical, microscopic, or otherwise). The good news here is that it is possible to reverse the process you created in your body.

"You are the one that has to live in your body, not me or any other person. All I can do is help guide you to better health through education and practice. The proof is in my practice and my patients! They see & feel that it works in addition to referring thier friends and family to my practice. They commit to thier programs that we have created and designed together and thats what makes us so darn successful"

CrossFit For Life!

My workouts primarily consist of the Crossfit technique and cardio exercise in the form of running. I workout at the www.CrossFitHollywood.com location with the owner Andy Thompson. Crossfit in my opinion is the best exercise developed today. It utilizes the entire body in a functional capacity therefore obtaining maximum results in far less time then what traditional workouts or weights can provide.

CrossFits daily nationally designed programs help you to develop Lean Body Mass and increase your Cardiovascular ability simultaneously. I am a very busy mom and business owner so I don't have time to hang out at the gym daily for 1-2 hours to do cardio and weights. Crossfit is ever challenging and I am thankful that I can do exercises and Olympic level workouts that I never thought were possible due to residuals from my traumatic car accident.

Crossfit is like having your own personal trainer without the expensive costs or time consuming workouts. This is the best workout for your health, strength, functional capacity, time and money!! You can find a CrossFit gym near you by going to thier national website at www.Crossfit.com
